At GenWell Foundation, we strive to improve the physical and mental well-beings of all social groups, especially the disadvantaged groups, and to empower individuals to achieve optimum well-beings and lead meaningful and successful lives.
Founded in 2020 at Silicon Valley as a 501(c)(3) organization, GenWell Foundation has been working with different communities and partners to provide education facilities and resources to help children in disadvantaged communities to get better childhood education and parenting in China, US and Uganda.
With science-backed knowledge, evidence based practice and creative approaches, we aim at making long-term positive impacts to the communities and individuals through collaborations with academics, businesses, community partners and government leaders at all levels.
Early Childhood Education Project in Rural China
Our initiatives began with an early childhood education library project in remote rural areas of Yunnan province, China. By providing a staffed space with age appropriate books and toys and activities for 0-3 year old children in remote villages, we aim at breaking the poverty cycle from early childhood education and give the rural children a life changing education experience for a brighter future and greater life achievements.
Supporting orphaned children in Uganda
In collaboration with Hands for an African Child, a non-profit organization based in Sacramento who is dedicated to building new communities to help the orphaned children to live in a family with adoption parents in Uganda, we supported the building of the GenWell Community Center which hosts community activities and a library for the children and their adoption parents.
Work Place Well-being Training
We organize well-being seminars, trainings and conferences for silicon valley Chinese engineer and employees to improve work place well-being and mental health.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and bring our mission to reality.
We love to connect and hear from you if you have a passion to improve your community’s health and well-being.
We also welcome volunteers to help us to advance our mission.
